Boing!. Help pages. Boing!.

Introduction.
The help pages are here to show you how to use the talker, they are split up into logical areas detailing different groups of commands. Simple commands are listed first with complexity increasing as you move further down the list. Just use the links that appear on the left hand side of each section to return to this page. Since this is a talker based around the Amiga the first help entry introduces this computer, this is really for the benefit of none Amiga people.

As with most things it's best to actually try the commands out as you read the help pages so you can better understand the function of each command.

  • Help page 1. An introduction to the Amiga. If you have no idea what an Amiga is (or looks like), or if you just want to remind yourself then have a look here.

  • Help page 2. Basic commands used to talk to people. If you are new to talkers and you need to know how to chat with people then this page should help you.

  • Help page 3. Some further talk commands. Once you know the basics you can move on to the more fancy communications methods to liven up your chat.

  • Help page 4. Using emotes in your conversations. Emotes can add an extra depth to your conversations but they can be confusing to start with. Here's how to use them.

  • Help page 5. Every talker user has a finger file (f file) which tells you a bit about that particular person, this section shows you how to build up your own finger file.
